How to search for a word or phrase in a course?
If you come across a word during your learning that you'd like to explore further or add to your reviews, the SuperMemo platform allows for quick searching within a course. For example, in the course “English C1 No Problem,” you can use the shortcut Ctrl+F (search function in Windows) and type the word you're interested in, such as “unusual.” The system will display results, including both presentation pages and exercises containing that expression.
Once you find the word you're looking for, you can immediately add it to your reviews. For instance, if you select the phrase “a very unusual caller,” you can indicate your familiarity with this expression by clicking the option “I know it” or “I almost know it.” The system will then include the word in your reviews, scheduling it for reinforcement—e.g., three days later—to help you retain it better.
This feature enables you not only to follow the course plan but also to tailor your learning to your individual needs, reinforcing vocabulary you find particularly useful or challenging. This tool makes learning even more effective and interactive.
