What does learning Chinese with Memo the Dragon look like?
In the course 与美梦龙一起学习汉语1 the child gets acquainted with the new material which is displayed on the presentation board, and then practices it by way of numerous exercises. The board that starts the lesson contains the words assigned to the topic. These are hidden and the child’s task is to find them and click on them. The reward for each is a funny animation. After finding all of the words, the child moves on to the first series of exercises. These consist of listening to a recording of the word and then clicking on the object identified by the speaker. Regardless of the correctness of the solution, an animation appears accompanied by a recording. This is followed by a second series of exercises based on matching an image to its correct caption. Each exercise performed by the child is checked. On this basis, the SuperMemo algorithm determines the next repetition of the material at the optimal time. By performing the planned repetitions every day, the child will master the language with almost 100% effectiveness!
