Our multiple-award winning “Olive Green” film-based course of English will be available for licensing and we will be happy to meet and greet all SuperMemo fans overseas.
This year, Poland is the guest of honour at BEA Global Market Forum, part of the BEA Content & Digital Conference. GMF 2016 features one full day, May 11, of education sessions, exhibits, and a week of off-site cultural events honouring Poland. To celebrate this special occasion the Polish Book Institute is hosting a delegation of the most interesting authors, poets, and literary artists at venues across Chicago. We are proud to have been invited to take part in a seminar titled “Innovative Global Successes of Polish Multimedia and Transmedia Publishing” with our flagship product, “Olive Green”, along with “The Witcher: Wild Hunt”, a story-driven game based on a series of fantasy novels by Andrzej Sapkowski. The seminar will be held on May 11, at 12:00 PM in room W178a. Presentations by Krzysztof Biedalak, CEO at SuperMemo, and Jakub Szamałek, Senior Writer at CD Projekt RED, will invite the participants to consider the values that contribute to global recognition and the popularity of future publishing.
Off-site cultural events related to Poland will kick off a day before the exhibition, on May 10, with a book reading and signing, and an award ceremony “Found in Translation” with Polish authors: Krystyna Dąbrowska, Artur Domosławski, Dorota Masłowska, Zygmunt Miłoszewski and Magdalena Tulli. Polish events will continue till May 14, with more readings, book signing, presentations, discussions across the Windy City and even a play at Trap Door Theatre.
